ABOUT ASHESH

Guitarist and Music Teacher

Influenced by hard rock and traditional jazz music, Ashesh Chatterjee takes his interpretations of sound to a different level whenever he plays.

Ashesh started playing guitar at the age of 13 after being influenced by hard rock and metal music. This passion for music started to develop into an obsession as he dreamed of pursuing music professionally.

Ashesh is a 2018 Graduate of the Jazz Studies program at North Carolina Central University. During his time at NCCU, he studied under Baron Tymas, Dr. Ira Wiggins, Robert Trowers, Branford Marsalis, and Joey Calderazzo.
